"Due to my own stupidity I attended ..."

About: The James Cook University Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Due to my own stupidity I attended the GUM clinic, the first time I have ever had need to in my life.

I was very apprehensive but needn't have been. The doctor & nurses were totally non-judgemental and put me at ease, then carried out the necessary tests.

I went again yesterday for a second Hep-B vaccination and was given my results - fortunately all were clear.

The unit is a fantastic service and anyone who puts themself at risk should attend - the staff are great.

What could be improved

Nothing
