"Five days spent in Beech ward"

The care I received before and after my hip replacement was wonderful. The staff always responded to all concerns I had and acted accordingly. The food was very good and varied. The nursing team, physio team and surgical team did everything they could to make me comfortable.

My only concern in the five days was that on Sunday night there appeared to be only one doctor on duty in the whole hospital. They were unable to see me because they were called to perform an operation and my query had to wait until the following morning. It was not an urgent matter but concerning my discharge the following day.
