"Treatment in Endoscopy Department"

About: Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

I had a colonoscopy in the Endoscopy Department yesterday.

On arrival at hospital I was a little apprehensive due to the fact that I had had a similar procedure last year at another hospital within the Trust and it was very painful.

However I was treated very well indeed from meeting the Sister who booked me in, to the Consultant, who carried out the procedure.

The theatre staff were lovely and I received much reassurance from them. Even though the procedure was a little painful at times they helped me get through it.

I should also like to thank the nurse who looked after me in Recovery ward.

A much better experience than my previous one.

Thank you everyone.
