I was referred to the James Cook by my GP, I have to say that the care was outstanding. MY condition involved a area of my body that is not normally on show, and as my luck would have it every health professional I saw was female. This could have led to some embarassement as I am a private type of person,

But every single person was understanding, courteous, entirely professional, and went to great lengths to preserve my dignity.

I cannot speak highjly enough of the staff of the urology department and ultrasound.

I am still under treatment at the James Cook for a condition I should have taken care of years ago if it wasnt for the embarassment factor.

If your in a similar situation then go to James Cook, rest assured they treat you with total dignity and understand your misgivings... many thanks to all the staff there
