i feel i must comment on the cleanliness of the hospital. I visited my son yesterday, coming from the Wirral, and noticed how clean the hospital looked. right from entering the building, to the ward we visited, including toilets, it all looked so clean compared to our local hospital in Birkenhead.

It shows what can be done; it did occur to me that maybe smaller hospitals are easier to manage, but still find it no excuse. At least I don't have to worry about my son picking up any infections while in hospital.

by the way, thanks to the staff for looking after him so well.
