What I liked

My treatment for a right inguinal hernia repair was prompt, efficient and caring, and throughout my stay was delivered with courtesy and sensitivity.

What could be improved

Medical staff appear to spend much of their time filling in forms where the information required is repetitive. A simple computer programme in a lap-top used by a skilled clerk would surely be more efficient and labour saving.

Thank you for taking the time to post your entry onto the NHS Choices website. The use of information technology is being explored continuously, as this is an ever changing field. Both nursing and medical documentation is also being reviewed to reduce duplication, allowing time to be dedicated to patient care.
