"Spinal decompression surgery"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

I had spinal surgery at Glasgow Royal Infirmary on the in Oct 2015 and would like to thank all the staff for their professionalism, care and attention that I received. The hard work, enthusiasm and patience displayed the NHS at its best. The staff in ward 62 could not have done enough for me, especially SNs Wendy and Julieann and Aux Donna.

Many thanks

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Dear franco,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your recent experience and I will be so pleased to pass on your kind comments to the team on ward 62, particularly Wendy, Julieann and Donna. I'm sure they will be really happy to hear what an impression they left.

I hope that you are recovering well after your surgery, and thank you again for getting in touch.

Best Wishes,

Lorna
