"Still Failing On The Basics of Healthcare"

Patients left for long periods while staff congregate around nursing stations chatting.

Often, when they attend the ward it is to do something specific and if asked by a patient for something they say they are busy and will do it shortly then often forget!

Sadly, when you can't get the basic care attitude right other more serious things get overlooked.

Even more concerning is how the level of care picks up when visitors arrive!
