"operation in calow hospital"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

I went to a and e four times and each time was treat with respect and care and never made to feel as if i was wasting there time, even though they were under so much pressure.

The fourth time i was kept for surgery.

I spent time in emu, HDU after my op, also barnes and elmton, i also had in patient procedures in endoscopy, and imaging.

All over the hospital i was treat with care and the utmost respect.

So thanks to everyone involved i am now on th mend visiting outpatients where they also do a fantastic job. They explained everything to my husband and i . So a special thankyou to the doctor and their team getting me where i am now.

Also to the nurses , care assistants, agency staff who made my stay pleasant and helped me to where i am now hopefully better!

Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experiences – you have obviously had a difficult time healthwise.

It was lovely to read how well you feel you’ve been cared for and I was especially pleased that you and your husband felt everything was explained to you, that’s really important so it can help you to make decisions about your care and treatment. I will make sure your post is shared with all the staff teams you’ve mentioned and I wish you all the best for a continued recovery.

Kind regards Sarah Turner-Saint, head of communications
