"Excellent progress with my Rheumatoid Arthritis"

About: The Whittington Hospital

I was first diagnosed with RA in August 2014 and almost immediately treated with steroids which removed all symptoms. Since then I have been taking hydroxychloroquine which has been very effective in preventing all but very occasional symptoms. Each doctor I have seen has been helpful and constructive and has given me enough information to determine what to do next. The follow up letters to my GP have been clear and also full of information. I hope that with the appointment of two consultants this level of service will continue.
