"Good service but too long for an appointment"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I recently went to the health centre to the foot clinic to have my toenails trimmed. I was dealt with very quickly and efficiently but it seemed as though my podiatrist was rushed and anxious to get to the next person on the list. Not that this stopped them from doing a good job, my feet felt great afterwards.

I’ve been going to the clinic for a while now and always receive a good treatment. The only criticism is that I have to wait far too long to have a further appointment. My toenails grow quite quickly and having to wait 13/14 weeks in between means that I now have lots of socks with holes in the toes. If I could be seen every 10 weeks that would help enormously.

Our colleagues work within a very busy service and it's good to hear you have always received a good treatment.

As we are a busy service our clinicians triage the patients so that ones with a clinical need are seen much sooner, in effect seeing the patients we need to see sooner. If you are concerned about your return time, please speak to your next clinician.

Thanks for leaving your comments.

Paul
