"Emergency operation"

I came to the hospital via nhs direct to see a dr in the out of hours drs surgery on a Sunday afternoon. The receptionist apologised for a half hour delay to see the dr, they were polite friendly and professional. The dr I saw was again very professional and also polite and eased my worries. They sent me straight to a & e where I was seen within 15 minutes again wonderful team cannot thank them enough. I was then admitted to Rowan ward again where from the porter to all the staff on the ward to being taken to theatre where I was very anxious as I have never had an operation were brilliant with me again cannot thank them enough. To the surgeon and team thank you thank you. And to everyone on Rowan ward what a fantastic team so friendly professional caring and supportive thank you thank you. Also when I was discharged to the bridging team who came to look after me in my home thank you thank you. All the staff I came in contact with thank you from the bottom of my heart and you didn't stop on the go the whole of your shifts and long shifts you are worth your weight in gold.
