"A+E sharp volt and burning pain"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

I came to A+E last night after a very sharp burning and volting pain in my left leg from my lower back downwards.

The receptionists was friendly and great in asking me about my symptoms, I was told to sit in the waiting area and was seen in a considerable by a 2 nurses shortly after they both asked me a series of questions about my seizures and the pain they was both concerned and we had a good chat about my symptoms.

I was then allocated to the doctors waiting area in which the doctor asked me questions about my health, they investigated me very thoroughly, was v courteous and was fantastic.

The doctor then mentioned to me to inform my doctor and to follow up with Neurology that I could have Allodynia a neuropathic pain or possibly peripheral neuropathy which affects the CNS.

The doctor was a bit rushed shortly before leaving but that was understandable with the hard work they face.

Especially being from Nottingham it was a complete change and much more different to Nottingham's A+E will consider you again in future.
