"My Dad's visit to Hairmyres"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My elderly frail dad attended Hairmyres hospital very recently following a fall at home over the WE

We attended Minor Injury unit first and we're met by a smiling friendly CSW who treated my dad as an Individual gave him time to answer and took time to explain everything to him. Debbie was the staff nurse and apologies I cannot recall the CSW name she was an excellent worker and a credit to your organisation

My dad has a serious of health issues and he was treated with respect care and compassion and this helped relieve my mum's anxieties

We were then transfered to ER and the staff again were excellent with my dad

Just wanted to thank everyone for taking care of my dad so well

Daughters thanks

I am so pleased to hear that staff took the time to provide your father with individualised care. Nursing staff do strive to provide effective communication and it is important that both your mother and father were reassured.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The staff involved will be pleased to hear such positive feedback. I will share your comments with the staff involved and the wider team.

I hope your father is recovering well after his recent attendance.

Best wishes

Lise
