About: Southmead Hospital

I was fully expecting not to be impressed due to experiences at two other local hospitals with my late mother. However I cannot speak highly enough of the care which was shown by everyone to both my sick father & to us the family. Staff at all levels showed sensitivity & respected his dignity & treated him like an intelligent human being. (something lacking in other hospitals)

Difficult news was delivered so expertly & with such an awareness of everyone's feelings. I really commend the young SHO who did this The support they gave us was superb as well.- Just the right level.

Thank you particularly to staff on Gate/ward 26b.

Dear Angela – I was pleased to learn that your father received good care from the staff here at Southmead and that their support was extended to the rest of your family.
