"Very impressed with level of care"

I gave birth to my daughter this week by elective c section and have been very impressed by the level we care we received during our stay.

I was apprehensive about the procedure but the theatre staff were fantastic in helping to reduce my nerves and were so efficient I knew I was in good hands.

The follow up care received in ward 9 was fantastic, both during the night and day. Our needs were well catered for and nothing seemed too much trouble for the midwifes, students and maternity care assistants.

I was also very impressed with how clean the ward was, especially the toilet and shower room located in my bay. The facility seemed to have been recently refitted and it was spotless which I was very grateful for when taking my first shower.

I couldn't fault the level if care we received and am very grateful to everyone for looking after us so well.
