I got rushed into new cross hospital for having tonic clonic seizures and was kept in over night for observations in resus they never checked to see if I might be pregnant before they gave me drugs to stop me fitting completely, in the morning while on the ward they finally did a test and found out I was pregnant, they did no investigation, with me being pregnant and having seizures they let me leave, the next day I get rushed back into hospital with heavy bleeding and in so much pain I could not even walk, I was kept in hospital again over night on morphine to control the pain, a few days later I miscarried, not long after I have my gp telling me that the drugs they gave me in resus could be the reason as to why this happened, me and my partner had been trying for over 18 months to get pregnant and im 20 years old with a past history of miscarriages which the hospital knew about, but unfortunately no body can tell me what caused me to loose my pregnancy, I strongly think that my child would of had a chance if I never had those drugs pumped into my system, one day of happiness to have it taken away is heart breaking, the nhs need to be more aware of other situation that the patient might be in before making a judgement that could possible make everything worse
"nhs need to fix up"
