Yesterday (14 Oct)
I had to be taken to C&W as I had a problem with my knee.
I was in great pain.
From the conversation with 111 to being discharged later in the day I was super impressed by the care, professionalism and efficiency of everyone I was in contact with.
The paramedics were brilliant and looked after me so well before delivering me to thevA&E dept.
Once in there I was seen very quickly by the nursing staff/X-ray team and doctors.
I wish I knew all their names to thank.
The NHS gets a lot of bad press but I thinki it is important to say what a great job they do.
On a Wednesday morning there was quite a bit of activity and people from all walks of life (it seemed) were in need of support.
From what I saw and heard all were given the best attention.
The Chairman even popped in to say hello when I was in my cubicle!
