About: Hillingdon Hospital

We are really annoyed with Hillingdon Hospital. We are having our first baby and my wife and I went to the Doctors on 23rd September. My wife will be pregnant for 12 weeks this Sunday. We were told to wait for a letter from the Midwife so that we can have our 12 week scan at Hillingdon. We still havn't received it 3 weeks later. So my wife yesterday went to the Doctors and they produced a letter which has a login details for us to book it online. We logged in last night and apparently we need a telephone interview. It gives us a list of avilable dates and we have chosen next Thursday at 1:20 AM.

We are hoping the AM is a typo as all of the available dates were only AM. There is also a number to call between 8am -8pm. My wife has been trying all day and know one answers. I thought I would write this hoping for a reply so that maybe we could have our scan first.

So sorry to hear of the problems you are having with your first appointment. There are times when the referral does not get processed from the GP end of the referral so we, at the hospital, are not able to see the referral. Unfortunately the letter your GP gave you is incorrect and should not be used for pregnant patients.
