What could be improved

car parking instructions are not clear enough regarding the first 20 minutes free parking. I have been twice recently, less than 20 minutes but had great difficulty trying to exit the car park. there are no clear instructions on the entrance to the car park and the instructions on this web site tell you to pay as you exit the car park.In case I ever have to visit Clatterbridge again I would be grateful for full and clear instructions

Thank you for taking the time to post your concerns, I am sorry that you experienced difficulty when exiting the car park at Clatterbridge Hospital.

I have raised your concern with Manager of Facilities who has assured me that there are clear instructions on every barrier including information of the free period for parking. I do hope that this information is useful.
