I lived in Fareham at the time of my surgery on 24/7/15. I was a nervous wreck before the surgery I have to admit at what would be found and how it would be dealt with. But my concerns were unfounded. From the initial consultation at Fareham Hospital to the actual day of the procedure I couldn't fault anyone's care for me.
This hospital's facilities are excellent, the day waiting room for relatives could do with being made bigger perhaps but the NHS don't need to be paying for the relatives' facilities to be fair. The facilities for the patients were excellent. The anaesthetist was extra patient with me as I had a bit of a panic before they put me under. I woke up to receive enough pain relief and care and felt completely satisfied upon my discharge. Everyone was kind, professional and caring throughout the whole process.
"Brilliant NHS Service"
