What do you have to do to be retained in a mental hospital? Walk in dead?! Letting a patient with drug addicition and who's threatening to kill themselves sign out at their own free will! Unbelieveable!

We are sorry to hear of the concerns you have raised here. Please be assured that we assess every patient in the context of risk and likelihood of self-harm before discharge from hospital.
