The lead nurse Neil made the whole procedure of assessment, explanation and plans for future care an especially reassuring. informative and cheerful experience for myself and my wife.
The Community Mental Health Team for Older People at Tolworth have always been caring and helpful. This last session was most especially good and informative and we are only sorry that the system is now moving stable dementia sufferers like myself to GP care, good though the doctors may be, and that we shall not be attending the Tolworth Clinic in the future.
We feel that Dementia requires expert care, albeit without an immediate hope of a cure, and that any perceived duplication of supervision and help for Dementia sufferers can only be a good thing and worth the financial outlay. That is what we believed was the general consensus.
