What I liked

was that I was in A & E and staff kept me informed of what was happening at all times. They treated me with respect and were helpful and considerate at all times. I stayed overnight and the assessment team worked well together and I was able to return home having had an X-ray, seen a doctor both days and a physiotherapist> I received relevant medication collected for me from the pharmacy.

What could be improved

It would have ben nice to have had basic toiletries (toothpaste and soap and a towel) in the morning as I had no one to contact at short notice to bring them in for me.

Anything else?

This was a very reassuring contact with my local NHS at a time when there is much negative press about the NHS. The service was excellent and the staff were amazingly patient- focussed. Whiston hopital have a lot to be proud of especially in such a busy area as A & E. thank you to all concerned.
