"Removal of sons sutures"

About: Paignton Clinic

I would like to thank the staff at Paignton Minor Injuries unit for their assistance in removing my sons sutures at short notice.

From the reception staff upwards, you included my son ( very anxious 8 year old) in all of the processes from booking in to having his sutures removed.

The manor in which they reassured my Son throughout the process was truly professional and I left the unit with a very happy boy (who was also hugely relieved as he had been warned off by another 8 year old about how painful it was to have sutures removed).

Once again thank you

Dear Anonymous

Thank you very much for taking time to provide feedback regarding your son's visit to Paignton Community Hospital's Minor Injuries Unit (MIU), to NHS Choices.

I was pleased to read that your son was reassured by the hospital staff during his visit and that he left a happy boy! Staff really appreciate hearing about when things have gone well, therefore I have forwarded your feedback to the Matron of Paignton Community Hospital, the manager of the MIU service and the Assistant Director of Community Hospitals, for them to share with their teams.

I hope your son is now recovering well. If there is anything further that I can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact me using the information below.

Yours sincerely
