"Decided not to go on appointment experience..."

I made an appointment for my husband to attend the outpatient clinic and was given a 'provisional appointment'.

I was told at the time that I 'may' get a letter.

I was advised to call the hospital prior to the appointment to ensure that they appointment was booked. I have been doing this now for a few days. I keep getting through to the switch board who keep putting me through to the 'appointments' line and the 'reception' line and after many attempts no one is picking up the phone.

I spoke to the member of staff on the switchboard who was trying their best to get to speak to anyone, they tried a few different numbers and even they could not get through to anyone. They told me that this has been happening lately!!!

We will not be attending this hospital, after coupling the reviews already left by others with the fact that hospital cannot even run an efficient appointment line..... we are going back to the GP to try another.
