"Delighted with service for my 21 month olds..."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I am very happy with the care my daughter has received before, during and after her operation. The consultants that we saw were fantastic and took real care of her.

The nurses on the ward she stayed on were brilliant too, and the children were well catered for by them. My daughter had to have her cast reinforced 7 days later (as she went through the heel) and this was not a problem 4 the plaster room in orthopaedics, they fixed the problem even though they were really busy and we had no formal appointment.

My daughter was extremely upset when her cast was removed and again the consultant and orthopaedic staff did their best to entertain her and calm her down.

I would like to say a big thank you to the surgeon in particular and their team for the care they gave my daughter during her operation and the follow up phone call we received from the surgeon to confirm all was ok with my daughter (due to unforseen circumstances, the follow up appointment was cancelled). I feel a little rude as I did not thank the surgeon on the telephone!!
