"I was in the maternity ward giving ..."

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was in the maternity ward giving birth to my first child. Even though the ward was full to bursting, all the midwives and staff were extremely helpful and didn't let the pressure get to them in the slightest. My student midwife and the midwife were absolutely brilliant and I couldn't thank them enough. they made the most joyous occassion even better. I am glad I went to macclesfield to have my son. All the way through the labour they were both brilliant and I cannot thank them enough. My son is the light of my life and I am glad the girls shared it with me.

What could be improved

Nothing whatsoever.

Anything else?

My midwives deserve an award for their work. they were superb and I couldn't thank them enough. Even if I move elsewhere and become pregnant I want to come back to Macclesfield to have my children. Excellent service.
