"Felt very supported, lovely comfortable..."

About: Kingston Hospital

I recently gave birth to my first baby here in the Malden suite ( midwife led unit ), and after initial triage, felt I went on to then have a very good and well supported labour and delivery in one of the labour rooms.

I think the midwives (the ones I had anyway were brilliant) did a great job with constant reassurance, understanding, and support. Of course my husband was great but without those ladies spurring me on that morning it would have been much much harder! (And of course as a first timer you have no idea what to expect either). The role of a midwife is invaluable getting you through that experience. This applies to the post op and post natal care too that was given To us.

The midwives antenatally were lovely too. So I feel very lucky!

I felt truly cared for and respected throughout. I had a very positive labour and delivery and a beautiful healthy baby boy at the end- I couldn't have wished for anything different. So thank you so much- it means so much.

I would definitely use Kingston maternity services again and recommend them too. Please keep up the good work!
