"Awful hospital the doctors communication is..."

The main issues is there is no communication with the patients my father has been waiting for heart valve rep,ace not surgery and everyday depending wt doctor visits him gives him another prognosis gets his hopes up then the next day they change their minds bearing in mind he could suffer another heart attack . The matron would not even see me to resolve any issues and they have moved him several times to different beds causing him stress

He has been in Fleming ward for 3weeks

Dear Anonymous, I am so sorry you have had such a difficult experience with doctor’s communication and so I have advised the Chief Medical Officer, who is responsible for the work of all doctors in the organisation, of your concerns. I am also in touch with the Ward Manager who has said she is keen to resolve this issue for you immediately.

If you can get in touch with the patient experience team with your concerns, by calling 01279 82 70 84, Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm, we can respond quickly and clearly to resolve these issues for you.
