"Maternity support -seriously lacking"

About: Kettering General Hospital

After being referred for breast feeding support I left the hospital in tears following the treatment by the staff which can only be described as rude and unhelpful.

A full night of nurses making threatening comments and making me feel terrible - a horrible experience

I am very saddened to read your comments and would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your care in more detail. Currently we are working towards our UNICEF Baby Friendly level 3 accreditation and have invested hugely in our staff training around breast feeding support. I am very sorry that this was the experience you had and apologise on behalf of the staff who left you feeling like this.

Please do not hesitate to contact me via our PALS team on 01536 493305 who will be able to connect your call to me directly.
