There are the six Cs around its a shame the staff dont at on any of them in Ebonby ward my mother went down hill since arriving on that ward from CDU where the care was great and involued the family.
as her daughther and only next of kin you would think i would be informed of any disscussions of helping her to recover but no! on Ebony no one could find the time to tell the family what was going on and on her tranfer to livingstone I as her next of Kin was never nofiedof the change. Luckly i phoned the ward to see how mum was getting on sat to be told she was tranfered fri !!! also when having any talking to any staff to called "hun" im not hun !!! when asked about the leg ulcers beening redressed told sorry its my lunch time !!! also on wittnessing a hca no name badge on spend a hour feet up on chair looking at their iphone for a hour this was on view to all including patient visitors and other staff when a another member of staff asked for help with another patient they never even looked up just carred on !! how can CDU manage to give great care and Ebony
