"Labour ward and paediatrics"

About: Tameside General Hospital

I gave birth on the 24/09/2015 at the hospital after being transferred to delivery at approx 9pm I was greeted by a midwife, as my labour progressed I began to see how lucky I was to have such a supportive midwife unfortunately due to complications it resulted in an emergency section this midwife was absolutely amazing both me an my baby was in danger due to a cord prolapse an they were so efficient that we both came out the other side fighting fit so to speak they then made sure we got our baby back as soon as he had had his test an got skin to skin contact an established breastfeeding with us they also came back to see us the night after to check how we was the care an support this midwife gave myself an family was beyond amazing in such a traumatic time when things went wrong in the labour we could not have asked for anything or anyone better than what this midwife delivered we will be forever greatful for their support care an quick thinking in our time of need to get such a good experience from a traumatic situation was phenomenal and over whelming to think there is midwifes like this employed by the hospital gives me every faith that the slandered of care delivered is beyond exceptional
