What an appalling system ! Can you imagine going to your dentist or bank manager and having an appointment and having to wait 5 hrs? This administration system is awful.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to learn that you had such a long wait at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and that your experience was not as positive as we would wish for the patients attending the hospital.

In response to your comment we can assure you that we are reviewing the appointment systems within the ophthalmic service and considering how we can make improvements. Your concerns have been raised directly with the department and staff involved so that they can reflect on how to keep patients informed of the waiting times during clinic sessions and the reason for any delays.
