"X-ray"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I was sent for a back and neck x-ray by my doctor on a Friday lunchtime as I was in considerable pain. It was just a wait your turn appointment but I only waited 15 mins before I was seen. I was told by my GP I would have to wait a few days for my results.

The lady doing the x-ray could see I was in a deal of pain so she asked me what I had done. She said she would go to see the consultant with my scans just to make sure I hadn't done any bone damage and to put my mind at rest.

I got changed and sat back in the waiting room - within 5 mins she came back and said it was all ok.

It saved me a lot of worry over the weekend and the service and staff couldn't be more helpful. Thank you all the staff in x-ray!
