About: Calverton Children's Centre

(as the patient),

Calverton children’s centre have been very supportive to me and my baby. I attended at first to see the health visitor at a drop-in session. This lead to attending the baby swimming lessons which are brilliant, with staff I trust and affordable and enjoyable. I also attended a baby first aid course which gave me much more confidence with weaning.

The baby group is good because you feel quite isolated as a new mum, the staff were very friendly and approachable and knowledgeable.

The health visitors, (From Calverton health centre) who do the drop in are fabulous, very knowledgeable and down to earth and able to help on an individual basis, not just blanket advice.

It’s a very good centre and does lots of positive things for local children and new parents.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us your story of how you are enjoying attending the Health Visitor drop in sessions and have received advice to meet your needs and your baby. Making friends with new mums is really important so you can support each other and attending the baby groups, swimming sessions and first aid courses at Calverton is a good way of meeting new people and increasing your skills and confidence as a new mum.. The team work well together to support families living in Calverton and the Villages and always strive to give the best service they can. I will ensure they know your story and how you value their support. Thank You.
