I was referred to Circle Hospital Reading via my work's health insurance due to long-term diarrhoea and bleeding. My Gastroenterologist consultant is very friendly and professional, and has discussed all options of what the problem could be (rather than just dismissing it as IBS as my NHS GPs have).
The Gastroenterologist Consultant arranged for a Hydrogen Breath Test to test for lactose intolerance, and when that proved negative, they arranged for a colonoscopy.
I was naturally very worried about having a colonoscopy, but the whole experience went really well.
I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by the Daycare nurses, placed into my own pod (complete with own toilet and TV), everything was fully explained, and the procedure itself was done quickly and, for the most part, as painless as possible.
All the staff, from Consultants, Nurses, Reception and Catering, are friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend this hospital.
"Excellent service"
