"Chesterman 2 Staff with poor behaviour."

During September of this year I was readmitted to the northern after various cardiac issues one is the hospitals own fault. I was admitted to firth 7 after travelling and being sorted in a and e, albeit I had a heart tracing at home and because the first response said my egg and obs were fine they were one hundred percent sure I wasn't having a heart attack and cancelled the ambulance, there's only one way to determine heart muscle damage and that's through a troponinin blood test. I travelled in the back of the first response car with no monitors of pain relief I begged the first responder to take me 2 hospital as I was sweating profusely and in agony. At a and e they took one look at me rushed me to resus and did the blood test the base line for a heart attack is 15, my levels were 395! Well done mr first response.......not! Anyhow the doc in ane was wonderful they knew everything about heart attacks and reassured me all the way, they called my husband who had to stay with our young children that I had had a moderate heart attack. I was then pain free and transferred to firth 7 intensive care.

The nurse that was looking after me at the time was lovely and constantly rechecking my ecgs, however the other misery spoke to me like rubbish when the pain started again, my nurse was on their break so they had to set up a gtn infusion, the nurse looked tired out and behaving in the way they did brings me to the conclusion stick to days. My first stay on firth 7 wasn't to bad but I had to be readmitted with further chest pain, all they did was stick a canula in my hand and can only describe has injectimg happiness into me, my pain disappeared and I felt great, I asked what it was and they dia morphine, they also said as I was still getting pain they would refer me to the inpatient pain team as diamorphide was an unsuitable drug to go home on. They abruptly stopped this med with no warning and put me on a combination of tramadol paracetamol and a drug named oramorph, I was taking 2.5 ml oramorph every 4 hours 3 5 mg diazepam 50mg every 6 hours of tramadol amongst other medications for the heart. I didn't get on with tramadol as it made me extremely spaced out and high so they changed the tramadol to codeine which worked out better medically and physically. Whilst I was on tramadol I had a few vacant episodes where I became unresponsive to the medical staff and rightly so they pulled the emergency button so all the doctors came running in and checked for cardiac arrest etc. Whilst on chesterman 1 on Thursday the 1st October the nurse who was looking after me during the day must have spoken to me and I couldn't answer them, the nurse shouted if you don't wake up Lianne I will call the doctors I couldn't answer or do anything as I felt paralysed when the docs came in I heard the nurse saying to their colleagues she's ignoring me and putting it on! And this is from me who was so desperate to get home to my children I would have told them anything ........
