"Lack of parking spaces"

It states on this site 1,198 parking spaces but does not state that the majority of these are reserved for staff members. My husband had to attend for an X-ray last week but was unable to find a parking space and ended up fetching the car home and then returning to the hospital by bus. Whilst waiting in X-ray he spoke to 2 other people who had done exactly the same thing. Surely the information given should show how much visitor parking is available so people would know there is limited parking available.
