"Care in A and E"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Having suffered a fall with a PelvicFracture I found the staff to be very caring and considerate......and cheerful!

The ward was exceptionally clean.

The radiographers were brilliant and also the orthopaedic nurse...in fact all staff.

The biggest problem is the time waisted for the Paramedics who had to queue with me for the triage. Maybe not enough staff to take details. I did feel that the paramedics could have left more quickly for their next trip. However, they were lovely and gave me confidence.

My thanks to all . Helen Bull

It’s fantastic to hear about your experience when you visited Queen’s Hospital. It sounds like you received all round great care and I am most certainly proud of our teams who delivered this to you. I do understand the frustration around the Paramedics having to wait for you to be taken into triage and our staff do work hard to manage the unpredictable volume of patients that can arrive at any time.

Yours sincerely Nadeem Moghal Medical Director
