"Hearing aid fitting"

I had an appointment on June 22nd for a fitting it's now Oct 5th and haven't heard a thing if you'll excuse the pun! I've just came off the phone I was put through and I'm still waiting for someone to pick up and gave up after 10mins! Surely someone could have contacted me before now. I agree with the other review the service is appalling what's going on? Apparently Specsavers have them ready the same day only wish I'd known beforehand?
