"Wonderful Care"

About: Glenfield Hospital

I came into Ward 31 6th July 2015 for an aortic valve replacement next day. I felt immediately part of a family and the care, explanations of my procedure and attention to detail were superb.

After the op I was cared for as if I was Royalty! Everyone had a ready smile and a willingness to provide me with whatever I needed. I was discharged 15th July feeling very unsure of myself, but the information about rehabilitation I was given before the op soothed away any anxiety.

I have made good progress since then and wish to extend grateful thanks to my surgeons/consultants and all the theatre staff who I never met (too groggy!) but know they were there working hard on my behalf, and the entire ward staff whose names escape me but who will forever be remembered by my wife and me. Thank you so very much.
