"My father's recent admission"

About: University Hospital Aintree

My father spent a short time recently as an inpatient ( following admission via the AED) before his death on ward 31. I simply wished to say that throughout his stay he was treated to the highest medical and nursing care with dignity, respect and where called upon humour.

During his end of life care he was nursed in a side room with the same regard.

The needs of my family and I were considered throughout his stay and when he passed away we were given space and time together.

My thanks and praise goes to you all from all for your comunication, care and respect, shown towards my dad and ourselves.

Hi Peter, and thank you for getting in touch.

We're so glad to hear that your father was treated with compassion and respect during his treatment at our hospital, and that your family felt supported after he passed away. We've passed on your comments to our staff.
