I was recently admitted to Queen Alexandra Hospital as an emergency by my GP, and after diagnosis underwent an operation for the removal of my gall bladder.
From the moment of admittance to that of discharge I received excellent care from all concerned; consultants, surgeons and anaesthetists were approachable and took care to explain what was happening and any risks involved.
As I also have COPD my operation was tricky but at all times I felt in safe hands. Nursing and after care was also superb.
A very big thank you to all staff on Wards E2 and E4 for enabling me to get back home as quickly as possible.
"Excellent Care"
