"Unhealthy environment - this hospital is making me ill"

Cambian Oaks has an underfloor heating system which has no controls other than being ON or OFF.

Consequently, when the heating is ON the hospital is intolerably hot. Staff complain; patients complain; but nothing is done.

It is so hot and oppressive that I find it difficult to sleep - the air is so dry that my eyes are being affected - I have an inflammatory condition in my feet which is exacerbated by the heat meaning that now my mobility is affected/limited - the heat makes it hard for me to concentrate; I am lethargic and irritable. In general I just feel ILL and nauseous.

I think staff are clearly lethargic - hot and bothered - obviously operating at well below their normal standard.

To be detained in hospital is hard enough. To endure an oppressive unhealthy environment is intolerable.

With staff that I think are obviously performing well below standard this whole situation is an accident waiting to happen.

Personally - I am going out of my mind with this heat. I worry about how I will cope if it continues.
