On Thursday this week, I went on a student night out in Manchester and after my condition worsened (through no one's fault but my own) I ended up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. When I arrived I was treated with a lot of respect and no judgement was made by any member of staff. I can imagine how easy it would be for someone to sneer or cast a bad look in the direction of a student whose night out ended badly through their own actions and I probably deserved it. Nevertheless I experienced none of this in the hospital, and I was even visited later on by the ambulance staff who brought me in. In summary, after ending up ill due to a night out, I was extremely grateful for the manner in which I was treated.
