About: Burnley General Hospital

I have a severe phobia of needles and the staff at Burnley general have always treated me with respect and go out of their way to try to make me as calm and comfortable as possible. Whether it was major surgery in the women's health clinic or something minor, they are always happy to compromise and find a way to ensure that a procedure is completed with the minimum of stress for all involved. I attended Dermatology on 1/10/15 for removal of a mole and the staff were excellent.

It's a pity the same can't always be said for Royal Blackburn where I have been treated as though I am a childish time waster and Ive had to fight for procedures to be modified to take into account my phobia.
