I came to the hospital while my father was having a cataract op. It was my second visit to the hospital. I found on both occasions that everyone I encountered, whether in the clinic, in the cafeteria, even in the lift and on the stairs as I made my way up and down, was helpful and pleasant. At Hammersmith it was difficult to find anyone willing to communicate information on even a rough timetable for the day. At the Western Eye Hospital one felt that staff in the clinic were engaged fully with their patients and patients were not an inconvenient interruption to the daily routine. A very positive experience. Thank you.
