"Colposcopy 3rd floor"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

The machine wasn't working to self check in and I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I was then called to go threw and they introduced themself and said that another person would be performing my colposcopy I entered the room to smiling faces and asked how I was feeling they put my nerves at ease and i started to relax i changed in the changing room and got on the bed the treatment isn't pleasant however I was asked the whole way through talked through what was on the screen and what was to happen next and when I would here from my biopsy. They were professional friendly and made me feel at ease I couldn't of asked for a better experience in a procedure I was dreading. I want to say a personal thank you to them they truly were amazing.

Thank you so much for taking time to feedback.

We have shared your lovely feedback with the Colposcopy Team.

All our members of staff strive to give the highest quality of service and communication to our patients, but it is particularly wonderful when people take the time to feedback to staff. Thank you again, Amy Maclean, Head of Patient Experience
