"Fracture clinic staff and care excellent"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Attended clinic 11 with my son to see Consultant and for him to have a cast put on his fractured wrist.

Appointment times were running behind by 30 minutes, all patients waiting were informed by a nurse, but as the clinic was very busy we expected some delay.

When we were seen the consultant fully explained the X-ray and what would be required for the fracture to mend, plaster room staff very friendly too, will be returning in 4 weeks for cast to be removed.

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Thank you for your kind comments.

It is excellent to hear that you were informed of delays and had a good experience within the clinic, especially for your son.

I thank you for taking the time to send a post, and will make sure all the staff are aware and I am sure they will be very pleased to hear your comment.

I hope your son makes a speedy recovery.
